There were multiple accidents on Highway 40 on Wednesday. Among those, Utah Highway Patrol shares that a motorcycle was traveling westbound on SR-40 in Gusher when an equipment failure caused the motorcycle to veer off to the right. The rider lost control and the motorcycle flipped, ejecting both riders from the motorcycle. Both riders were flown to Salt Lake. A second accident occured when a pickup truck was traveling eastbound at milepost 130 when the driver lost control and crossed the centerline. After crossing the centerline the vehicle collided with a small sedan traveling westbound. The sedan flipped landing on its passenger side. Thankfully there were no injuries.
