Moon Lake Electric is getting to work on a major upgrade. On Wednesday, the rural electric cooperative held a groundbreaking ceremony for their new Pole Line 138kV line. “This historic line will almost double our power capacity for our service territory, paving the way for reliable electricity now and in years to come,” shares the announcement. “A special thank you to those individuals who have worked behind-the-scenes to make this happen…This is an exciting time in Moon Lake Electric history!” Moon Lake Electric serves residents of Northeastern Utah and Western Colorado. The transmission line is planned for over 40 miles to connect the Bonanza Power Plant to a pole line substation.
