Moon Family Gingerbread Display Assembled At Uintah County Library

The Moon Family Gingerbread Display is a well established Christmas tradition anticipated by the community but this year it’s taken on new territory, literally. Roosevelt Branch Librarian Stephen Moon and his family are the artists behind the annual display. Typically, Stephen and his wife Sabrina get started in October by rereading whatever book they are featuring and map out the scenes to be featured at the Roosevelt Library in gingerbread glory. This year there was a wild card factor. There was no guarantee that the new Roosevelt Library would be finished in time for the display and so the Moons regrettably announced that the annual display would be postponed until 2023. That was a short-lived plan, however, as the Uintah County Library excitedly volunteered to host the annual display and the Moons accepted. Well the epic dinosaur themed all gingerbread display has arrived and is assembled in the children’s area of the Uintah County Library. All are invited to come check it out and of course plan to attend the panel later this month on December 16th to learn how the Moon family pulled off their masterpiece!
