The Uintah County Sheriff’s Office announced on Thursday evening that the missing Uintah County woman has been found safe. The woman’s mother, Pam Weyerman, had asked for the public’s help as her 24-year-old daughter Briana Marie Belk had last been seen on the night of February 16th at her home in Vernal. Weyerman shared that “Briana has intellectual disabilities that interfere with her ability to make safe decisions” and they were “deeply concerned for her well-being.” The Uintah County Sheriff’s Office had been involved in the search from early on and while no details were provided, the Sheriff’s Office did confirm that Briana had been located safe on February 27th and they thanked everyone for helping look for her.
