A DCFS warrant at a Uintah County home to check on two children and look for drugs ended in arrest on Wednesday. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, 30-year-old Harley Christensen was located inside and detained for safety during the search. Christensen admitted to officers of having drugs and paraphernalia inside the home. Drugs were found in the shared bedroom accessible to both adults and children with tinfoil with burn residue in a dresser drawer and a vial with methamphetamine in a backpack at the foot of the children’s bed. More foil pieces, pipes with marijuana and methamphetamine residue were in the bathroom. A white powder suspected to be methamphetamine was found on the kitchen counter. Harley Christensen was brought into custody and a drug test showed he was positive for methamphetamine, THC, and morphine. Based on the accessible location of the drugs and paraphernalia to the children, Christensen’s charges include Child Endangerment as well as drug charges. 35-year-old Baquita Harris was also arrested, tested positive for methamphetamine, and is facing charges of Child Endangerment as well as drug related charges.
