Pet owners are asked to do better as they adapt to changes in circumstance or when making decisions about whether or not a pet is right for your family. The Roosevelt Animal Shelter announced on Friday that they are beyond maximum capacity. “Please keep your dogs home!” shares the announcement. “Strays will be on stray hold for 5 business days…If the animal is not claimed within that time, it will then be evaluated and may be posted for adoption and/or rescue.” As another reminder from the Roosevelt Animal Shelter, all dogs and cats ages 4 months and up in Duchesne County are required to be up to date on their rabies vaccine. And finally, for those interested in adopting during the month of October, there is $50 dollars off adoptions this month.
