James Moss Jr. recently visited the Evans Family Media studio for an interview on topics in education. Moss is the incumbent Republican candidate for a seat on the Utah State School Board and he shared his thoughts about the needs that are unique to the Uintah Basin. Moss credited Uintah Schools Superintendent Rick Woodford as stepping up as a real voice about dialing back on unnecessary regulations. He said on a state level they often talk about the burdens placed on the state board by the federal government but that sometimes they turn around and do the same thing to local districts.
