Evans Family Media has begun to share interviews with current candidates for political
office on air and online as a service to the public. On April 5th, an interview with Phil
Lyman, Republican candidate for Utah Governor, aired on Newstalk KVEL. Lyman
answered questions on public lands, federal overreach, Utah as a sanctuary state and
handling illegal immigration. Lyman made it clear that he believes that incumbent
Governor Spencer Cox has not stood up to the Biden administration on serious issues and
that he intends to do the opposite if given the chance. His history appears to back that up
as Lyman is famously known for protesting the closure of an OHV trail by organizing a
trail ride and then being arrested and charged with misdemeanor conspiracy to trespass.
