Local talented youth have worked very hard and are now prepared to entertain the community with some good old fashioned community theater. The drama departments of both Uintah and Union have worked hard to keep their programs going while adjusting to sometimes rapidly changing information and requirements related to the COVID-19 pandemic. While changes were made, both programs defied the odds and presented multiple productions. Now the time has come for their final productions for the school year. The Union High Drama Department opens tonight with ‘Mary Poppins’! The show will run May 7th, 8th, 10th, 12th, and 14th. Tickets are available through UnionHighDrama.com. Uintah High School has also opened with their spring play, ‘Beau Jest’. The remaining shows for Uintah’s production are May 7th, 11th, and 12th. Tickets can be purchased on uintah.ludus.com.
