March 5th Primary Election And Presidential Poll Update

Those receiving ballots for the 2024 Presidential Primary Election should have received them in the mail by now but remember, only the Democratic ballots for the 2024 Presidential Primary Election are arriving in mailboxes. The Uintah County Clerk Auditor Office shared this week that any issues or concerns can be reported to their office and the voter registration deadline is today, February 23rd. Active voters affiliated with the Democratic Party were automatically mailed a ballot but any other voters will need to contact the Clerk-Auditor’s office to request the Democratic ballot. For Republican Party members, the Republican Party is holding a Presidential Preference Poll during Caucus meetings on March 5th. The Republican Party is handling its own election during the Caucus meetings so no ballots are being sent out to registered Republicans. For those wanting to get up to speed with the local GOP, the Uintah Republican Lincoln Day Dinner is coming up on February 29th at 6pm at the Uintah Conference Center. Tickets are almost sold out but can be purchased at UintahGOP.org/LDD.
