It’s been over a month now since hospitals and doctors elected to postpone certain procedures and surgeries but it looks like that time is winding down. Uintah Basin Healthcare announced on Monday that all services are now fully operational at The Clinic though telehealth visits still remain available. Urgent Care is now fully operational in both Roosevelt and Vernal and sleep studies have resumed at the UBH Sleep Center. Uintah Basin Medical Center Physical and Occupational Therapy gym reopened on Tuesday with the gym adhering to the state and local public health orders and recommendations. Elective surgeries have resumed in the O.R. starting today and UBMC Women’s Imaging will begin offering mammograms again starting Monday, May 4th. Please note that visitation is still not allowed and helpers for patients are only allowed under special circumstances. All that come into UBH facilities are asked to wear a mask but please do not put face coverings on children under the age of 2. The tent triage system that was put into place a few weeks ago will discontinue on Friday and road barricades will be removed. For more information, visit www.ubh.org.
