Man Reported Unconscious Under Vehicle Arrested For Drugs

A call to dispatch for help was issued on Sunday in Vernal after a man was seen lying unconscious under a vehicle. Officers arrived and found the man on the ground underneath a pickup truck near the driver side door which was open at the time. A glass pipe with a white substance coating the inside was observed sitting on the driver’s seat. The officer shook the man who woke up and stated he was fine. A paint marker containing chemical warning symbols was in his hand. The man was evaluated by EMS. It was confirmed that the truck which the man had been under was owned by him. A search warrant was obtained for the vehicle and additional contraband was found, including ziplock bags containing methamphetamine, glass pipes, large canisters of butane refill, and more. 40-year-old Dustin Rowdy Brown was arrested on charges of Possession of Controlled Substance, Use of Drug Paraphernalia, and Abuse of a Psychotoxic Chemical Solvent.
