A hit and run incident resulted in an arrest in Duchesne County on Tuesday evening. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, 55-year-old Russell Don Robertson was visiting a friend when an orange truck was driving around making loud noise outside the residence. After some time he left and then came back and met up with the orange truck from earlier. The orange truck backed into Roberton’s vehicle and drove away. Robertson pursued and hit the side of the orange truck, pinning the driver side door closed. He then pushed the orange truck approximately 40 feet sideways before the driver of the orange truck got out and began to flee from the scene. Robertson then backed up but lost control of his vehicle and went into a ditch. Robertson is charged with felony Aggravated Assault and an infraction of Failure to Stay in One Lane. The identity of the driver of the orange truck was not listed so it is unclear if that person was cited for anything.
