A man with two no-bail warrants for his arrest tried to evade the situation after being approached by an officer in the Roosevelt Dollar Tree on July 2nd. According to the Affidavit of Probable Cause, 32-year-old Kody Gene Kimbel fled from the store but was apprehended in the parking lot. Kimbel had a .22 handgun in his pocket and a tooter with a measurable amount of fentanyl in it on his person. There were also items from the store inside his pockets. Kimbel was arrested for Felony Possession of a Firearm by a Restricted Person as well as Felony and Misdemeanor theft and drug charges.
