A man was arrested this week on one count of Felony Child Sex Abuse for actions that
allegedly took place in Fruitland. Detectives with the Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office
traveled to the Wasatch Front this week to take 60-year-old Roger Lynn Rasmussen into
custody. The victim was 11-years-old at the time of the alleged abuse. Rasmussen was
booked on January 2nd on the charge of 2nd Degree Felony Sexual Abuse of a Child. His
initial appearance in 8th District Court is scheduled for January 8th.
