Man Arrested After AP&P Check Reveals He Assists Others In Drug Purchases

A local man was arrested on Wednesday at his home in Roosevelt after a follow up with a parole officer revealed that the man was assisting in dealing drugs. Text messages sent and received by 32-year-old Christopher Gaddis showed that he was assisting individuals in purchasing drugs from a local individual as well as showed his plans to help sellers in the area find buyers for their drugs. During a search of the residence, a large hunting knife, approximately 14 inches long, was found as was drug related items. Gaddis was placed under arrest for the offenses of Possession of a Dangerous Weapon by a Restricted Person, Use of a Controlled Substance, and Arranging Distribution of Controlled Substances. Gaddis is scheduled for an initial appearance in 8th District Court on January 8th.
