It’s time to celebrate America’s Independence and if you’re planning to use fireworks here’s a few things to remember. First, be prepared by reading and following the label directions on fireworks. Always have water handy such as a garden hose or bucket of water. Keep pets indoor as fireworks easily frighten more animals and many will try to run away. Once you are ready to start lighting, act responsibly. Soak used fireworks in a bucket of water. Never re-light a “dud” firework. Be sure to wait 15 to 20 minutes then soak it in a bucket of water. Dispose of used fireworks and debris.
