Lt. Governor Deidre Henderson made a visit to the Uintah Basin on Wednesday encouraging all to get their COVID-19 vaccination. TriCounty Health had a successful day on Wednesday during their all-day vaccine clinic at Duchesne County High School, distributing the newly arrived single dose Johnson and Johnson vaccine. During a question/answer session, Henderson said you may ask, which dose is best for me? And her answer was the dose you can get the quickest. While Utah is doing well with numbers of people being vaccinated, Henderson said she hopes that people keep feeling urgency until their vaccination is complete. She made the comparison that people getting more relaxed about it is like being in a race and stopping when you only see the finish line. Henderson emphasized that what’s needed is for people to keep running until they have crossed the finish line. Visit www.tricountyhealth.com to stay up to date on local vaccination options.
