The young woman who was hit and dragged for several city blocks in Vernal on Wednesday has a long recovery ahead. The most recent report from the family shares that 21-year-old Breanna Berry is hospitalized in a Wasatch Front area hospital as she is receiving treatment for severe road rash, a fractured neck, fractured elbow, and a small brain bleed. The driver involved in the accident fled the scene but was later apprehended by law enforcement and was reportedly in custody as of Wednesday evening.
