Local Officers And Their K-9 Partners Compete At Utah K-9 Trials

Local officers and their K-9 partners recently showcased their skills at the annual Utah K-9 Trials. Vernal PD reports that Corporal Andrew Randall and K-9 Kratos competed as well as School Resource Officer Cahill Oldham and his K-9 Remi. “Competing against K-9 teams from across the state, Cpl. Randall and Kratos achieved an impressive 4th place finish in the Patrol Area Apprehension Search category. This event provided an excellent opportunity for both the handlers and their K-9 partners to demonstrate their capabilities and to gain valuable experience,” shares the announcement. Countless hours go into the training of these special 4-legged K-9 officers and their amazing handlers. The Vernal Police Department shared that they are proud of the dedication and performance of Cpl. Randall, SRO Oldham, and their K-9s, Kratos and Remi.
