Young local bull riders competed well over the weekend in Duchesne at the Jr. World Finals Underground Bull Riding competition with several advancing to regionals. After the weekend’s dust settled, the Rocky Mountain Region standings were updated with the following locals making the list: Billy Lewis of Roosevelt is ranked number 1 in Junior Mini for 10 and 11 year olds, Acedyn Cuch of Ballard is ranked number 1 in Senior Mini for 12 and 13 year olds, Colton Young of Vernal is ranked number 1 in Junior Novice for 14 and 15 year olds, and Wyatt Jensen of Roosevelt is ranked number 7 in the same category. These local cowboys will compete in the Regional Finals in Gillette, Wyoming in August where the winners will advance to Nationals in Las Vegas during the PRCA finals.
