Every year local hospitals excitedly celebrate the first baby born in the new year by giving the family a special gift basket and making a public announcement. The Uintah Basin Medical Center New Year Baby was born on January 1st at 7:35am. Baby boy Kashton Tim Grant weighed 7 pounds 4 ounces and measured 18 ¼ inches long. Chance and Ashley Grant are the proud parents. The Ashley Regional Medical Center New Year baby arrived on January 1st at 11:47am. Parents Jessica and Jesse welcomed Baby Harper who weighed in at 7 lbs 15 oz and measured 21 inches. Congratulations to both families and welcome Baby Kashton and Baby Harper as the New Year’s babies of 2022!
