Local golf courses are providing locals with a much welcome outing during this time of spending more time at home. Dinaland Golf Course is open with the following guidelines shared on March 28th. The course is open to Tri-County residents only and requires a tee time (no walk-ons allowed). Check-ins are mobile only and one person must pay for the whole group. The Pro Shop, Snack Bar and driving range are all closed. Some of the new golf edict rules include not touching the flag sticks, not sharing clubs or any other golf equipment, and individuals need to remove all trash after golf cart use. The door handles and carts are constantly and consistently disinfected. Finally, remember that if you are feeling sickly in any manner, please stay home. The golf course is staying fluided to change with whatever the situation demands and recommends that interested parties call 435-781-1428 to stay current with the golf course conditions. The Roosevelt Golf Course also remains open and are using CDC guidelines to keep golfers safe. They note, however, they have had an influx of people not checking in and remind all visitors to check in before playing either in person, by phone, or text.
