Another plea has been issued to the public, asking that any suspicious behavior that could be connected to cattle theft and killing be reported to local law enforcement. The Duchesne County Cattlemen’s Association, Uintah County Cattlemen’s Association, and the local Farm Bureau is spreading the word that there is a $20,000 dollar reward offered by The Utah Department of Agriculture for information leading to the arrest and conviction of any person involved in the theft, mutilation, or malicious killing of livestock. “For our local cattle producers, it is more than just a cow,” shares their announcement. “It is the hard work, sweat, and energy we put into the care and development of these animals. It is our livelihood; it is how we support our families.
