Local agencies have come together to solve a mutual problem. Earlier this year Vernal City and Naples City each found themselves without their lawyer. They started the process to hire Mike Harrington together as their attorney and Dutch John and the Uintah Special Service District 1 joined the Interlocal Agreement. This month, Vernal City Council approved an Interlocal Agreement with a new entity requesting to join the legal services program. The Uintah Animal Control and Shelter Special Service District has joined the group and the Uintah Fire District has asked to join.
