The Community of Unity in Christ Interfaith Group hopes everyone joins them this
evening for their annual resource and service event that includes a fun way to enjoy a free
dinner. Tokens will be handed out to the public as they go to the community resource
booths which can then be used at the food trucks at the event. “Addiction treatment,
self-care, health and mental health resources will be featured, along with a wide variety
of community resource booths,” shares the group’s announcement. “Bring the family to
the Uintah County Library Park any time from 5 to 9pm and learn what you can do to
help save a life using Narcan, and how to make our community better, while assisting in
service projects to help others, enjoying entertainment, food trucks and games.” Some of
the groups that will have booths include TriCounty Health Department, StepOneServices,
UBTech, PrimeTime 4 Kids, Project Alley, Thompson House of Hope, Just Serve, and
more.
