Uintah County Library is holding a Virtual Family Christmas Tree Decorating contest. Trees can be entered in one of three categories: Traditional, Themed or Crafted. A traditional tree is decorated in typical Christmas colors with no real theme or concept. A themed tree is decorated with a specific concept such as Disney, Sports Teams, Movies, etc. If doing a themed tree label the theme on the picture. A crafted tree needs to be decorated with 80% homemade or crafted decorations and ornaments. Any decorations crafted, not bought, including materials or ornaments that are bought and then painted or crafted into something else count as crafted. Only one tree per household can be submitted. Entrees must submit pictures of their tree via email to jyoung@uintah.utah.gov or through the Uintah County Library Facebook page with an individual’s contact information and the category they are competing in by midnight on December 12th. The tree can be any size or type. Trees that are entered CANNOT be trees that have been decorated for or received from Trees for Charity. All pictures should be of recent trees decorated this year for Christmas.
