Uintah Basin residents affected by cancer do not need to feel alone thanks to a support group that meets monthly and tonight the group will be doing something out of the ordinary. The Let’s Talk: Uintah Basin Support Group meets the first Thursday of every month and tonight they will be taking a tour of the new Cancer Infusion Center at Uintah Basin Medical Center. The Uintah Basin Healthcare team will demonstrate how they can connect those in treatment with loved ones using secure, video visit technology. The group welcomes all cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, family, and friends, and are offering educational and emotional support.
