Coordinators for a foreign exchange student program are looking for locals interested in learning about their program to possibly host students. Tyler and Monica Hill are the current local coordinators of the program and enjoy hosting students as a family. Their family first hosted a student from Norway and are this year hosting a Norwegian young lady and young man from the Netherlands. Of course there are criteria to becoming a host family but it’s not as restrictive as one might think. To host, one must be over 25 years of age and relationship status doesn’t matter. You can be married, single, in a relationship, etc. “Our students, host families, and schools are all equally important to a successful exchange,” shares the program announcement. “Our program would simply not exist without any of them.” To learn more about the possibility of hosting, call Tyler at 435-724-3300.
