‘Ladies Night Out Vernal’ is back and going on right now! Everyone was disappointed when the 2020 event had to be cancelled and while the 2021 event is different from years past, all involved are just excited to be back raising money in the battle against child trafficking worldwide. So what’s different and how does it work? “This year we weren’t exactly sure how to proceed so we decided to do an online auction and raffle,” shares Katie Cundle. “We didn’t get to do it last year and we really hated not being able to send that money.” The money raised will help girls rescued from sex trafficking that are in safe houses through the Rapha House organization in Cambodia, Thailand, and Haiti. The event started last night and ends tonight at 8:00 pm. To enter the raffle, which has amazing prizes including a $500 gift card to Basin Sports and a $200 gift card to Blush Clothing, you can Venmo @Kandice-Einerson or purchase tickets on the event website. Place bids for the items in the online auction by visiting the ‘Ladies Night Out Vernal’ Facebook page, scrolling through the photos in the ‘Auction for Rapha International’ album, and placing your bids. Bidding closes tonight at 8pm. The highest bidder then has 24 hours to pay for the item. The raffle drawing will take place live on the Facebook and Instagram page on Friday, May 7th at 7pm.
