‘Ladies Night Out Vernal’ is hosting their annual event this month to once again benefit Rapha International but what is Rapha? One of the event organizers who has been involved from the beginning is Katy Cundall, who explains, “Rapha International is one of those organizations with over 20 years of working with girls who have been trafficked. They provide healing, hope and freedom through quality care for children who have been rescued from trafficking. And, they provide training to safely reintegrate the girls who come into their care. Rapha also works to prevent the trafficking before it starts, working in communities to provide education and support for vulnerable families. Rapha International has safe houses in Cambodia, Thailand, and Haiti as well as three ‘Kids Club’ locations that work to prevent trafficking from happening.”
Katy has visited each of these safe houses and says giving to Rapha International is something we can do to make a difference and end the trafficking of children. Visit Rapha.org for more information.
Tickets are now on sale for the April 26th ‘Aloha for Rapha’ event and can be linked to through the Ladies Night Out Vernal Facebook page.
