A fun and worthy fundraiser is taking place tonight in communities across the Uintah Basin. The KLiC & Drag Family Scavenger Hunt event starts at 6pm tonight on the Main Streets of Vernal, Roosevelt, Duchesne, Altamont, and Tabiona. KLiC stands for ‘Keeping Love In Communities’. It was created in honor of JoAnn Ivie Coil who passed away from cancer in 2008. The funds donated to KLiC are used to help Uintah Basin families suffering from cancer. For tonight’s fundraiser, starting at 6pm participants can buy a flag for $20 to decorate in support of those fighting cancer and pick up details on the scavenger hunt. Then from 7 to 8pm all are invited to drag their Main Street to complete their scavenger hunt to win great prizes. Each scavenger hunt has 12 items that participants will need to find and take a picture with to then send in. To pick up your flag and participate tonight, stop by your Main Street location: Tabiona High School, Swasey’s Other Place in Altamont, Kohls Hardware in Duchesne, Frontier Grill in Roosevelt, and JB’s in Vernal. Enjoy getting out with the whole family to complete a scavenger hunt while dragging Main Street for a great cause!
