A gang of service oriented cyclists are headed to the Uintah Basin this week as they continue a cross country adventure. The Fuller Center Bicycle Adventure has both an east coast and west coast unit, both of which are focused on repairing homes on their route as part of the Fuller Center’s goal of eliminating poverty housing. The ‘Cali to Carolina’ group made a huge impact over the weekend on a project in Provo during which they fixed the roof and took care of the yard of a man who was severely injured and lost his sight from a civil war reenactment in Provo in 1983. The stop in Provo to serve and improve housing conditions was a success. Now it’s time for folks in the Uintah Basin to keep an eye out as their next stop on the schedule is Duchesne County. Follow their adventures on the ‘Fuller Center Bicycle Adventure’ Facebook page.
