The Uintah County Library will be having a weekly writer’s workshop called Just My Type on Thursday evenings
at 7pm
. The group will be utilizing some aspects of National Novel Writing Month (or NaNoWriMo) as they meet to share ideas, discuss writing habits and learn. Local author Bethany Wiggins will be participating to share her experience and knowledge. Wiggins is an internationally published author and local mother of five who knows first hand how to carve out time in a busy schedule to finally write that story you’ve been thinking about. “I can’t wait to share with locals the secrets to write a fabulous book,” shares Wiggins. NaNoWriMo is an annual, Internet-based
creative writing
project that takes place every November. Participants attempt to write a 50,000 word manuscript
between November 1st and November 30th
with a focus on length rather than quality. The goal is to get a first draft so that it can later be edited at the author’s discretion. For more information call the Library at
