In a recent announcement, the board of directors for the Uintah Basin Junior Livestock Show declared that the livestock show that is scheduled for June 1st through the 4th will be open to exhibitors from the Tri-County area ONLY. The decision is so that the event will “comply with the current and anticipated guidance from the Governor and our local health department.” The Uintah Basin Junior Livestock 2020 show will make adjustments to help maintain social distancing and comply with all other guidance to help minimize the spread of COVID-19. The board asks that all exhibitors be prepared for additional daily precautions during the show with new guidelines set to be sent out soon. For those exhibitors outside of Uintah, Duchesne, and Daggett Counties, your entry fees will be refunded. In their closing statement the board explains that “during these unprecedented times this has been a very challenging decision and we appreciate your understanding.”
