Randlett’s own Josh Frost is at the top of his rodeo game. On January 16th, Frost won the Sandhills Stock Show & Rodeo in Odessa, Texas putting him at the top of the world standings. Well he did what he does best on Friday, January 29th, and kept that number 1 spot by winning the PRCA Xtreme Bulls competition in Rapid City, South Dakota. According to an article from the PRCA on prorodeo.com, Frost earned $4,004 for his 8 seconds of work edging out top riders including the reigning all-around and bull riding world champion Stetson Wright who finished in third place. “Stetson Wright came out in the first section and had an 89-point ride and started it off with a bang,” Frost shared in the PRCA article. “You’re not going to see a better group of bull riders anywhere in the world. You have to do your job. It was exciting to see all the top guys here. This is where I want to be. I want to win at the biggest rodeos against the top guys in the world.” Frost made his debut in the NFR in 2019 and has no plans of going away any time soon.
