Cowboy Josh Frost from Randlett, Utah was named the recipient of the Professional
Rodeo Cowboy Association Linderman Award. The Linderman award is one of the most
prestigious awards in Professional Rodeo. It recognizes a cowboy who won at least
$1,000 dollars in three events and those events must include at least one roughstock and
one time-event. Frost was able to make $222,557 dollars in bull riding, $4,037 dollars in
tie-down roping, and another $1,091 dollars in steer wrestling just in the past season. “It’s
a great honor,” shared Frost with ProRodeo. “It was one of my goals starting out the 2022
season. Being as committed as I am to winning a gold buckle in bull riding it really adds
some challenges, but I take a lot of pride in the award. It’s always bittersweet when I
know I get my qualifications for it.” His older brother captured the award in 2014. Frost
has now won the award three eligible years in a row; first in 2019, then 2021 and now 2022. Congratulations Mr. Frost and thank you for representing the Basin so well.
