Could there be a more appropriate guest to a Jr. Jazz clinic than the literal junior of a Utah Jazz legend? John Stockton’s son, David Stockton, made a stop at the new Union High School on Monday as the special guest for a Jr. Jazz clinic and excited kids turned out in force. Over 200 participants ranging from 1st through 12th grades were in attendance and excited to play some ball with and learn from the young Stockton. The clinic included some scrimaging of Stockton taking on large groups of kids at a time, which everyone enjoyed, as well as time for pictures and autographs. Judging by the smiles and enthusiasm, the event will not be soon forgotten. The clinic was free for participants and put on by Roosevelt Recreation.
