Input Welcome on Uintah County Small Business Center Idea

Uintah County is always trying to find ways to innovate economic growth outside the norms that have driven it for the last decade. One such focus is developing the businesses of local community members. To aid in such endeavors, the Uintah County Economic Development group, made up of community leaders as well as businesses and government entities, are looking to establish a small business center. The hope is to encourage business growth and help diversify the economy of the Basin by offering a center that allows small businesses to have co-working space and what they are calling an innovation center. Right now it is an idea but Vernal City and Uintah County want input and insight from residents. People can access the survey on a link at the Uintah County Economic Development Facebook page. The data will help gauge interest, gather general input, and if there is enough interest they will send a joint application for a State of Utah grant. This is definitely a situation that every voice counts.
