The Uintah School District Annual Impact Aid meeting is being held next week and input from the community will be welcomed. Impact Aid is a federal program designed to assist local school districts that have lost property tax revenue due to the presence of tax-exempt federal property, including Indian lands. The Impact Aid meeting will include school presentations by Eagle View Principal Chris Jones and Lapoint Elementary Principal Emily Arnold as well as participation by the Red Spirit Singers and Ute Indian Tribe Royalty. Parents and guardians of students who attend Uintah School District schools and reside on Indian lands are encouraged to attend the Impact Aid meeting to learn more about the district’s educational programs and offer suggestions and input. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 13th, at 5:30pm at Eagle View Elementary School. The meeting will be streamed live on its YouTube channel.
