The Hotel Vernal Haunt charity fundraiser was a great success this year. Not only did the organizers reimagine the event to provide safety measures during the COVID-19 pandemic, they added new and fun elements including a patriotic night, laser show, and outdoor scary movie. “It was a wonderful year!” shares Haunt organizer Quinn Bennion. “We were able to still have a great event despite the weather and new location. The event was planned safely with the COVID concerns.” The Haunt welcomed 4,083 visitors to Remember the Maine Park raising over $30,000 dollars! Those funds will be donated to three local charities: the Dry Fork Flag Project, Westyn’s Vision, and A Chance to Dance. All involved were thrilled that the event was able to continue and Bennion says that they are already looking forward to next year!
