It’s time to get excited for one of the most popular annual events in the Basin, the Vernal City Holly Days happening Friday, November 29th. Festivities run all day long at Cobble Rock Park, the Uintah County Building, and at Western Park. The Parade of Lights starts at 6pm with lineup of the floats at 5pm. There are prizes for the best floats! The popular activity checklists are happening again this year. Complete 12 of the 20 activities to be entered to win during the Holly Days prize drawings. These are things like reading a Christmas story, making hot chocolate, taking a selfie at a local business, donating to the food pantry, and making a Christmas ornament. Download the activity list that will serve as your entry at www.communityhollydays.com or on the Vernal City Facebook page. Santa’s Workshop will run November 29th and 30th at the Vernal Middle School from 10am to 4pm both days. The Trees For Charity Tree View will also run both Friday and Saturday, starting at 11am both days.
