Highway 40 Crash In Duchesne County Requires Extra Cleanup

by | Mar 28, 2025 | News | 0 comments

It’s never a good day when you are in an accident and sometimes the cleanup is easier to handle than other times. A family traveling on Highway 40 on Thursday morning found themselves in a scary situation after their vehicle and the camper it was pulling crashed. In the process, the entire side of the camper was ripped off and a large amount of personal belongings were dumped on the north side of the highway. The accident occurred while coming down the Strawberry Pinnacle curve, making it almost impossible to see until travelers were right upon the location. Utah Highway Patrol responded. Cleanup of the trailer’s spilled contents was ongoing the rest of the day. It was not believed any serious injuries were reported from the crash though Utah Highway Patrol had not confirmed that at the time of this story’s print.
