A high speed chase through Indian Canyon ended in an arrest on Saturday evening. According to a traveler report, a silver car sped past their vehicle traveling north coming down Indian Canyon on Highway 191. The speeding car was passing on the double yellow line and around blind corners. Police soon followed, pursuing the north bound vehicle. Travelers were stopped a few miles from Duchesne where the driver was being apprehended. Law enforcement from Duchesne County confirmed that the high speed chase ended in Duchesne County but the suspect was taken to Carbon County Jail because the chase started in Carbon County. There were reports of a second high speed chase in the same area on Saturday but we were unable to verify the reports.
