COVID-19 has been trying on many levels to so many people. The Uintah  Basin community is a witness to the strain this disease has been for those that already struggle with mental health issues, especially our youth. Be sure to remind any youth that they are not alone. The SafeUT Crisis Chat and Tip Line is a statewide service that allows youth access to licensed clinicians 24/7 to provide real-time crisis intervention. For a crisis call dial 833-372-3388. SafeUT also has an app that can be downloaded for Apple and Android devices. All services are free and confidential (other than standard data usage and rates that apply from carriers). SafeUT  answers crisis calls, and chats—about yourself or someone else—providing 24/7 concern to many topics including but not limited to: depression, loss and grief, suicide prevention, self-harm or bullying.  We as a community can help our youth know the tools that are available for any struggles that they might be having mentally during these highly stressful times.
