The annual Hawk-a-thon was a success once again! Over 60 students from Uintah Middle School participated in this year’s triathlon which included swimming, cycling, and running. The race winners this year were Anna McKee and Ryker Madson for 6th grade, Molly McKee and Easton Madson for 7th grade, and Angela Jolley and Ollie Jordan for 8th grade. Eason Madson finished the race the fastest with a time of 32 minutes 40 seconds. The annual Hawk-a-thon was started by PE teacher Christine Whetton. The Hawk-a-thon was among the things noted as Ms. Whetton was selected for the November spotlight by the Utah State Board of Education for Health and Physical Education.
