Thieves may be getting bolder but can you imagine stealing a huge piece of heavy equipment? Duchesne County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a case of a missing Case 580D Backhoe out of the Lower Red Creek area in Fruitland. “This backhoe was last seen by the owner about two weeks ago,” shares the Sheriff’s Office. “Investigators and deputies are asking for the community’s assistance for any information or if anyone knows the whereabouts of this backhoe.” Anyone having information is encouraged to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 435-738-2015 or Central Dispatch at 435-738-2424.
