Do you have a little one old enough to start kindergarten next school year? If so, it’s time for Kindergarten Roundup in Uintah School District. In addition to letting schools get a tentative count of students, some preliminary screenings may also take place to determine a child’s readiness for kindergarten and provide educational support for parents and kids. Kindergarten Roundup is being held at Naples Elementary on March 28th, Ashley Elementary on April 8th, Discovery Elementary on April 9th, Eagle View Elementary on April 10th, Maeser Elementary on April 22nd, Davis Elementary on April 22nd and 23rd, and Lapoint Elementary on April 25th. In Utah, children must be 5 years old by September 2nd to qualify for kindergarten attendance. For times or for more information, call the main office at your child’s potential school.
