Superheroes, ghosts, princesses, and ghouls are preparing to flood the Uintah Basin with cuteness in search of some Halloween fun. The Vernal City Mayor’s Walk is on the horizon where Main Street will be shut down on the afternoon of October 26th and businesses hand out candy and treats from booths. Last year the event welcomed over 8,000 attendees. Roosevelt’s iconic Main Street Halloween parade is back this year and is being held on October 31st from 3 to 5pm. Main Street will be closed to traffic during this year’s fun. Finally, if you’re needing some Halloween fun sooner rather than later, the Pierce Holiday Light Show is up and running. The display is open seven days a week, starts at dark, and ends at 10pm. Always a hit, the Pierce’s Light Show located at 3840 North 1000 West in Roosevelt is thrilling visitors nightly.
