Happy Halloween! On Monday, October 30th the 6th annual 4-H ‘Trick or Treat So Kids Can Eat’ food drive will be from 6 to 7:30pm at the Uintah Conference Center east parking lot. On October 31st, Duchesne City will have their Halloween event on Main Street starting at 3pm. Roosevelt City’s downtown Halloween parade also starts at 3pm and this year the parade route will extend one more block north to the L&L corner at 200 North. Businesses can still contact the Duchesne County Chamber for a space to participate. Main Street will be closed to traffic during the parade. Also in Roosevelt there is the Pierces Halloween display. They are open from dark to 10pm. For those in Vernal, the Byington family will be having a haunted house on October 30th and the 31st. This is a free event though donations are welcomed. They are located at 1353 South 2500 West in Vernal.
